Does the LA50 driver handle printer Fonts in the AMIGA? I have an
A500 with 512KB. I have loaded MYLA50 into DEVS and draft printing
works fine just plain characters.
I read the notes on graphic printing problems with WB 1.3 and an
LA50. But I have WB 1.2 on my ProWrite disk and still can't get
the different Fonts to print. If I try to copy to PRT: from the
CLI mode I get junk and a lot of form feeds so I guess the text
file is not stored with the needed printer char.
Can the Amiga handle fonts on an LA50 with WB 1.2? Do I need a
a different LA50 driver and WB 1.3? Or is there no hope of using
an LA50 with Fonts and Graphics under ProWrite on the Amiga.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I was able to use the LA50 driver with the 1.2 printer device for
printing from DPaint but that the 1.2 printer device would not work
with ProPage. For some reason Propage wanted to see the 1.3 device.
Maybe ProWrite has the same type of problem.

My ProWrite disk came with WB1.2 but the printer.device was from
1.3 . When I replaced the new 1.3 printer.device with the old 1.2
printer.device file, the fonts worked fine on my LA50. I have not
had time to try a graphic dump yet.
