    Sometimes I forget to switch on my 2nd drive until Workbench has
    booted - it then fails to recognise its presence. is there ANY way
    of getting it to realise that the drive's there, without having
    to re-boot?

	I'll try all these possibilities tonight - in so far as I understand them that is. I only just bought a book which attempts to explain AmigaDOS, so I'm still unfamiliar with the O/S - not sure what a "devs:Mountlist" is for example... -Rog
