Almost two months ago I called Go Amigo and asked for a Microbotics startboard II upperdeck with rams. They didn't have any. I didn't order. I called back a week later and they said they had it so I ordered it. A month later it hadn't arrived, so I called and they said it was on backorder. Then, I said OK let it ride a week. It is still on backorder last night so I cancelled it. They have reason to believe it will be a long long time coming. Does anybody know a second source (not microbotics) for a compatable upper deck. Perhaps I should build it, it's only RAMs in parallel, right? connected to the mother with a socket arrangement. What's with Microbotics? Tom

I bought mine a few months ago from Safe Harbor. Got it to me two days later. Try them. Rob

According to memory location microbotics no longer makes upper decks. The product couldn't compete with internal ram cards that could expand to 4Mb, just out and at ML. Gee. I could sit on 2Mb for a while, or buy the new card, or try to build an upper deck with a board from active or youdo it. hm. Also two weeks ago somewhat bought an upper deck from ML for $30 on consignment. Why am I always buying obsolete junk and missing the good deals? Tom

I was able to order a starboard upperdeck directly from microbotics manufacturer. Tom |
