3770.0. "Scholar Plus Modem" by DICKNS::MACDONALD (VAXELN - Realtime Software Pubs) Thu May 10 1990 15:33

Has anyone out there had difficulty using a Scholar Plus modem at
2400 baud in Hayes mode? What about using MNP in Hayes mode?

Works fine for me. I use in in hayes (AT) mode for AmigaUUCP and VT100
terminal sessions.

I do use the 9600 baud speed buffering option.

I also use a Scholar Plus @2400 with the AT mode. It makes
figuring out emulator scripts much easier, because most examples
on the net are written for AT mode.

Will this buy me anything just running a terminal emulator?
If so, how do I set it up?
     Thanks,

No. It just keeps you from having to switch between baud rates. It might
help the local host in that it can burst data instead of continuous slower xfer,
but I doubt it.
