| I don't have any info in front of me, but as with most services,
there are peak times and off-peak times. PLINK has prime time rates
that end at 6 pm local. Telenet and Redi-Access provide local numbers
for gaining access to PLINK. Redi-Access happens to be a dollar or
two less expensive per hour than Telenet depending on the baud
rate. 2400 is more expensive than 1200 on PLINK (unlike Compuserve which
has the same rate for both 1200 and 2400).
The are two Amiga areas on PLINK:
GO AMIG
GO APRO
There is also an entire section devoted to AREXX.

| Does this mean that I will have to pay for Redi-Access(or telenet)
service on top of the Plink service charge? Does Plink package the
access service with itself, or do I have to call the access service
and tell them that I want to use Plink?

PLINK figures it all out. Call their 800 number and they'll explain
it all to you.

| I'm a member. At 2400 baud the cost is $6.00 using either telnet or
Redi access. The good thing about people link is that all of pd or
shareware programs reviewed in Amiga World or Amazing Computing are
referenced in PLINK.

I've been using PLINK for about four years now... (where did you think
I got all the latest PD stuff from?)
The current rates break down as follows:
Telenet Redi-Access
Frequent User Non-Frequent User Frequent User Non-Frequent User
1200 5.96 7.95 4.46 5.95
2400 10.46 13.95 7.46 9.95
As you can see, REedi Access is cheaper and the lines are always noise
free.
