     56 C 55 : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :
    		 P N L J H F D B

The board has at the bottom a rev no of B

    Also on a EPROM has a no 400138-00 C and on a 40-pin chip no M5L8085AP

  All you need are:

     O M K I G E C A
     : : : : : : : :
     P N L J H F D B

a-b is bit 0 (low order) of scsi address
c-d is bit 1 of scsi address
e-f is bit 2 (high order) of scsi address

The socketed resistor packs near the 50 pin header (and at 90 degrees to it)
are the SCSI terminator resistors. Remove these if the adaptec is connected
to the middle of the SCSI bus.

	Enjoy!

OK, here they are - from the manual.

a-b LSB of scsi address
c-d Mid bit of scsi address
e-f MSB of scsi address
g-h DMA transfer rate - in slows things down - SASI only
i-j Extended Command Set (SASI only)
k-l NOt used!
m-n Support of Syquest 312 and DMA 360 drives that drop "seek
    complete" signal during head switching.
o-p Self DIagnostics. Someone else can type what they mean in here.
    Leave out for normal use.

On 4000/4010/4000a models there are 4 more pins near the ST506
connectors:

r-pu Write Precompenstation turned off for both drives.
r-s Precomp starts at same cylinder as reduced write current.
r-t Precomp applies to all track.
