3412.0. "Animation for Sculpt 3D" by WJG::GUINEAU () Wed Jan 31 1990 14:22

I'm looking to get some kind of animation capability for Sculpt 3D.

I currently own Sculpt 3D and Sculpt 3Dxl

What are the differences and what's the best path among the following:

	Sculpt 3Dxl + Animate 3D

	Sculpt/Animate 3D

	Sculpt/Animate 4D

	Sculpt/Animate 4Djr

I imagine Sculpt/Animate 3D is just Sculpt 3D with Animate 3D.

What differences does Sculpt/Animate 4D (jr) have?

John

(BTW - I can get Animate 3D for $98.32 and Sculpt/Animate 4Djr for 82.06
so it seems like the Sculpt/Animate 4Djr might be the best cost wise)

    	Sculpt 3Dxl + Animate 3D = Sculpt/Animate 3D

    	Sculpt/Animate 4D includes Sculpt/Animate 3D plus more

    	Sculpt/Animate 4D jr = Sculpt/Animate 4D without raytrace.
They substitute come kind of simple solid model rendering.

More? Although I guess it doesn't much matter since this
package is too expensive (for me!) and the jr version doesn't
do ray tracing so it's out as well.

Look's like Animate 3D is the way to go...

If you get animate 3D to go with Sculpt 3D you can upgrade to
Sculpt/Animate 4D. You just send manual covers and money to
Byte by Byte and they will send you Sculpt/Animate 4D. The
upgrade cost is about $125 .
