I'm thinking of buying an un-populated half meg expansion board for my 500. In the advert it says the board is to be populated with 16 DRams number 41256. Here is the question ; I have access to DRams which have the following numbers ; M41256-15 OKI JAPAN 6Y8013 I suspect the 6Y8013 is the companies date code but I was wondering if the these DRams are the same as the ones mentioned in the advert ??? There is a large difference in price between populated and un-populated boards (19.99 compared with 70.00) so if any technical types out there can help....... Thanks in advance George

I got in touch with the company that makes the board and they agreed with you. The -15 does mean 150 ns but they recommended I use -12 (120 ns). They told me -15's would work but did'nt say if I would notice any difference. Look's like I will just have to try them and see. George |
