This has probably been asked before, but what do you set up to get
the top row of keys on the keypad to work? I like to use the VT100
emulation and it seems I never get the full keypad functions. I
have looked at the startup files and they seem to have the set map
command in them. I use the vanilla startup files, since I haven't
seen any reason to severely modify them. If I click on the SETMAP
icon, I get a message "tooltype not defined" or something to that
effect. I have an A500 with 2meg and a recently added A590.
Also, does anyone use ATALK III ? I bought it recently and it looks
like a good package, but I need to get this map problem straight.
Thank you for your co-operation.....

I use the Vt100 Atalk III emulator and the top row of keypad keys
work correctly for me. I didn't do anything to make that happen,
it just worked that way! For me, every terminal emulation problem
(funny chars, etc) has been the result of something set up wrong
on the VAX end and a
SET TERM/INQUIRE
has always fixed it for me.
My only complaint with ATALK III is the inability to reverse the
BCK/DEL keys.
