I talked to the people who produce Phasar and found that they are now shipping rev 4.0. The upgrade policy is that you send them ONE of your original disks (either the 512 k or 1 meg, whichever you are using) along with your name, address, daytime phone number and $39.95 + $3.50 s/h, and they will send you ONE disk back. That sounds a bit steep to me, and why won't they send me both versions? Be that as it may, when I asked what had been changed, they said they couldn't tell me over the phone and that I should look up their ad in Amiga+ magazine. Could anyone who gets that magazine please post the pertinent information? Thanks. Dave Busch

version 3.0 is being given away free on the latest Amiga + magazine disk. There was a blurb where if you hurried you could still order the docs for 15.00. I didn't bother to pick it up so I can't comment. bill | |||||
3288.2 | Phasar tax spreadsheets. | HPSRAD::BUSCH | Dave Busch, MRO1-2/S10 | Fri Apr 12 1991 12:11 | 12 |
Can anyone tell me how I can specify that the contents of a "text" type cell be treated as a pointer to another cell rather than as the textual contents of the cell itself? For example, I want to create a text cell at the top of page 1 of a tax form and I want to name the cell "year", with its contents "1990". At the top of the next page I want to create cell "p2year" and I want it to get its text contents from cell "year". However, if I enter "year" in cell p2year, it displays "year" instead of "1990.
