I know this game is quite old and dated but I got it free with the
computer (A500) and it's the only flight simulator I have (until
Saturday 6/1/90 when I will buy F-29 RETALIATOR which looks superb).
The Trouble I have is that I get severely ass kicked During the 6th
Mission ( Surfaced Submarine Attack). The briefing before the mission
is quite vague as all it basically tells me is to fly below 100ft to
avoid radar detection. What it does'nt tell me is how to avoid MIG-29
detection !! and before long there are so many enemy missiles flying about
it looks like i've flown through a fireworks display !!!
What I'm I looking for ? Where can I find it ? and Why does my plane
have such a lousy armoury (It does'nt take long to fire 2 sidewinders
and 4 Medium Range missiles).
On the map there is another Carrier due north of mine, Is this one of
mine ? or should I blow it out of the water ? (which I've already tried
with no success).
Please help a frustrated fighter-jock get through this mission and onto
the last one.
p.s. Is Falcon a better game ? Has anyone tried the new Activision
flight sim FIGHTER BOMBER ?

I'm pretty sure most of your questions have been answered in previous
discussions about Interceptor. Try 1448.* and 1471.*, which you could
have found with the NOTES command "DIR/TITLE=INTERCEPTOR".

you said in you note that you were going to get F29 RETALIATOR on
6/1/90 well i bet you were disapponited as it was put back to some-
time this month.
as for your question on mission six i have had the same problems.
the previous notes on interceptor that i read about mission six
did not work for me but try them anyway.
