Can't hurt to ask. A series of these topics on a per town basis might be fun, but Mr. Moderator, feel free to delete this note if not appropriate. I'm looking for Amiga game players for play-by-phone games in the Harvard MASS local calling area. I know one such person, soon to be moving. Right now I only have POPULOUS for PBP games, but I'm considering others. If anybody lives in the local calling area (and I mean LOCAL, as in no charge, yeah, I'm cheap), how about replying here. We can exchange phone numbers by email and spend a few nights tromping each other in alternate universes. Dave

Why not post this note in the Atari ST notes file? Many of our
favorite games allow hookup to the ST, such as Falcon, Populous, Jet!,
etc.

RE: .1 - good idea, I'll consider it though at the moment I don't even subscribe to that conference. Feel free to point them towards the idea of contacting AMIGA'ers for games if you have time. (Keywords would sure help on these things, were they ever enabled for this conference? As you can guess, I'm not a frequent amiga noter). re: .2, .3 I'll send mail with phone numbers, etc.. I have a SCHOLAR modem. A bit of trivia, I wasn't able to get POPULOUS to work when one person uses a scholar, and the other a scholar plus. But the other person lacked the manual, so perhaps there's a switch for compatability. Thanks for the replies, any more takers? It's fun to know who the nearby amiga owners are. Dave | |||||
