    Here are December meeting announcements for the Boston Computer
    Society Amiga Users Group.  All BCS meetings are open to the general
    public.
    
    Monday, December 4:  Tech group meeting.  7:30 PM
    ------------------
    
    "Mainframe Power to the Amiga!"  Daniel Ten Ton, of Digital Animation
    Productions, demonstrates Transputer-based video graphics and processor
    boards for the Amiga 2000.  Capabilities can be extended to 120
    MIPS and 9 MFLOPS per processor board, with display of 16 million
    colors at resolutions of 800x600 and higher.  Ton addresses some
    of the issues involved in programming for parallel computing, and
    discusses some of the programming languages and tools available
    for his systems. 
    
    Tuesday, December 19:  General meeting, 7:00 PM

    Forum on Amiga paint programs.  Also, election of officers for coming
    year.
    
    Location:  U.S. Dept. of Transportation Bldg, 55 Broadway, Cambridge

    The DoT is located north and west of the intersection of Broadway,
    Main and 3rd Streets (Kendall Square) in Cambridge.  By car, from
    Boston and Storrow Drive, cross the Longfellow Bridge.  Third Street
    is the first light on the Cambridge side.  Street parking behind
    DoT.  By public transportation, ride the Red Line to the Kendall
    Square/MIT stop.  Walk around the Marriott Hotel to Broadway.  Enter
    the highrise building (of 3) through the center courtyard.

    Full showing of the Siggraph 89 Animnation Show.  Held at New England
    Life Hall, 225 Clarendon St, Boston.  (This is between the Public
    Garden and Copley Plaza.  Parking is difficult here.)
