    I'm currently trying to build a hard disk system for my A500, I
    have already the drive (ST225), the enclosure (room for another �
    height drive), the power supply, and the cables. The controller
    will be a Western Digital board (apparently OMTIs are unobtainable)
    
    I have had a loan of a Spirit HDA-506 interface, which convinces
    me that the drive works ok, and that I can't live without it. BUT
    I'm not convinced that:
    a) The HDA-506 is worth the �175 ($280) being asked for it.
    b) I can afford the �175 anyway.
    
    If I decide against the HDA-506, this leaves me with two alternatives
    I believe, "Ingo's project" and The Wedge. I'm not confident enough
    with a soldering iron to consider building the German project, which
    restricts me to the Wedge.... So....
    
    1) Can anyone relate their experiences using the wedge ?
    
    2) Can someone give me an address to contact the manufacturers (Canada
    somewhere I believe) ? Either postal or (preferably) email. The last 
    email address I have is [email protected] but mail just bounces 
    back.
    
    3) Is there another (budget) alternative ?

    Yes, RSI moved to the address in .2 but Dave Allen (and I believe the
    Wedge) have parted company with RSI.  Dave indicated that he disagreed
    with the direction RSI is moving.
