Progressive Peripherals & Software advertises a package called
'Mathamagic' (or some such) that appeared to be an educational/tutorial
type of package. Not sure what it covers, but it might be worth
investigating.

| Re: .1
TrueBasic has optional Calculus, Statistics, etc packages. I've never
been sure if they were packages or useful programs, teaching programs,
drill programs, or example programs for some textbook. These packages
show up in listings of "educational software" occasionally.
Does anyone know what they really are?

The TrueBasic packages are nothing more than software that gives
you the ability to input an equation and it prints and sometimes
plots the results on the screen. Some of them include source
code and examples.
It is a shame they don't do more, considering the price and the
authors. They won't teach you much of anything.
I can't help the Amiga folks here, but for the Atari ST there is
a program called El Cal that does a tremdous amount - allows
equations to be entered, linear equation systems, matrix and
vector operations, statistical distribution and does plots and
curve fitting. No calculas. It is from Debonair Software and
sells for $44.
