I've copied the following to WJG::AMIGA:
Note that at least 1 of the demos (SENTINEL) requires at least 3 meg to
run. My personal favorite is spigot, but Sentinel won the competition
this year.
ANYCOMPUTER.ZOO;1 594
CPUSTANDOFF.ZOO;1 288
DOCTOR_A.ZOO;1 791
FREAKALLEY.ZOO;1 1459
KLIDE.ZOO;1 30
LASERBOING.ZOO;1 893
ONLYAMIGA.ZOO;1 538
RADBOOGIE.ZOO;1 522
SENTINEL.ZOO;1 3166
SPIGOT.ZOO;1 618
TOOMUCH3D.ZOO;1 532
Total of 18 files, 10353 blocks.

| I've also uploaded the file S6079.WRP which is also part of the sentinel demo
and needs to be unwarped to the 2nd disk for the demo to work properly.

| Maybe it's just me... but SENTINEL.ZOO appears to be corrupt.
The SENTINEL2.WRP file fails the CRC check. Since I don't often
have 3000+ blocks free, and since it looks like there are a total
of 3 warp files needed for the demo, would you consider keeping
the demo on WJG as SENTINEL1.WRP, SENTINEL2.WRP, SENTINEL3.WRP?
many thanks to both of you for making these demos available.

| Personally, I don't think Sentinel is that hot a demo.

| re .4
There's no doubt that sentinel2.wrp is corrupt, that's why I put up the
s6079.wrp file which will finish out the 2nd disk. sentinel2.wrp will unwarp
fine, it just aborts around track 60 or so.
I agree with the sentiments in .5, this demo to me isn't all that spectacular. I
personally liked 'Spigot' the best.

3112.7 | slight problems | NOTIBM::MCGHIE | Thank Heaven for small Murphys ! | Mon Nov 20 1989 22:53 | 13 |
| Hi,
I've had problems getting a couple of the demos working. They are the
ones what use MOVIE. When I fire it up from the CLI I get a message
"UNABLE to OPEN SCREEN". It happened on DOCTOR_A and ANYCOMPUTER I
think.
Any suggestions ? (I tried increasing my stack to 10000 before running
them).
Some of the other demos I've got to run are pretty good stuff !

| Re: .7
Yeah, that's because MOVIE is absolutly braindead when it comes
to non-standard WB screens. I bet that you have a morerow'ed WB
screen. One solution is to boot with standard system-configuration
file, the other is to play thoose animations directly from Sculpt
(3d,4d, whatever). I've been bashing the collective Byte by Byte
heads for some years now at several occassions, but to no avail...

| Thanks <CB>. Yes I'm using morerows (why not, I'm running a PAL Amiga
!)
