| DECWRL does not support routing to the UUCP domain. Try:
nm%DECWRL::"[email protected]" (ought to work)
nm%DECWRL::"decvax!ulowell!cbmvax!user" (definitely works)
For more information on e-mail to external sites, see the notesfile
UPSAR::GATEWAYS. It may tell you whether there is a European gateway.

| Wes, Thanks for the re-assurance, but neither of those do the trick.
Any other suggestions?

Dale (Luck) isn't at cbmvax, he's at cbmvax!boing!dale.
And BTW, email to CBM/CATS people should be reduced to an ABSOLUTE
minimum, otherwise these folks will cut the wires. Try getting an
answer here or in comp.sys.amiga(.tech) first, please.

<CB>
P.S.
It should be:

| Dale Luck _is_ at cbmvax, as least for the next few months. He'll
be working out of Commodore, West Chester PA.
I realize that mail to CBM/CATs shouldn't be abused, but Dale and I
have been conversing using 'real' mail, and this is the best/only
way I have to currently reach him.
Thanks for the help...

3108.6 | Happy emailing... | FROCKY::BALZER | Christian Balzer DTN:785-1029 | Thu Nov 16 1989 04:05 | 16 |
| Re: -.5
Gee, I knew he was going to do some work for them, but movin' from
CA to PA doesn't sound like a move forward to me. ;-) Maybe his home
suffered from quake after all. ;-)
Thanks for understanding my fears about extensive emailing to CBM.
BTW, I believe that cbmvax is (will be) set up in a way that it
routes mail to known users at CBM subsidaries (sp?) like the west
coast facilities country HQs automagically, so email to Dale might
still work using the same address if he's back in the sunny west.

<CB>

3108.7 | Commodore in other countries? | FROCKY::NICOL | Tobias Nicol | Mon Sep 30 1991 12:41 | 15 |
| Hi,
does anybody knows if there's a possibility to mail to Commodore Germany
directly? It should be easier to get an answer to "local questions"
from the division of Commodore in your own country.
Maybe we can use this topic for adresses of Commodore in other
countries too. If someone knows such an adress, he may post it as a
reply. So not all questions of the world will reach the guys in USA
(Re .4).
Thanks in advance,
Tobias.

| From Amiga news group posting, I took this one:
Dr. Peter Kittel of Commodore Bueromaschinen GmbH, Frankfurt, Germany
is on Internet address
[email protected]
I don't know Peter's position within Commodore Germany, though.
