Help! I have the use of an LJ250 here at work. But no cables or manuals. I can cobble up some cables if neccessary but would like to know what cable DEC makes that might handle the job. My boss would like to use the Amiga to make some nice color graphics and then output them to the LJ250 as color slides. Makes for some presentations. I'm also using (still) DPaint I and I kinda lost touch with the Amiga. But I'm getting back into it and need some advice. I have copied the HP_Paintjet driver from WB 1.3 to the paint disk. But how do I make preference see it? I have plans to upgrade software later but could use some direction right now. Thanks in advance... .... Rob

You'll need the 1.3 printer.device file (located in DEVS:) as well as the actual 1.3 printer driver to take advantage of the enhanced print features of 1.3. Also, why not upgrade to DPaintIII (assuming DEC will pay for it)? You'll be unnecessarily handicapping yourself with an ancient version of DPaint I. Ed. |
