Are there any PD (or even comercial) memory diagnostics that'll check the initial 1meg of memory that comes installed in the 2000? I've tried a couple of diagnostics which are written for add on memory (2-8 meg options) and they work fine for the options but I can't seem to find out how to test the original 1 meg. Any pointers would be appreciated. Frank

FWIW - I have used Memdiag on FF214 to check out my A500+A501. It worked for me. It will allow you to "map out" bad locations. There is another memory diagnostic on FF158. It is for the A1000 and called Memboardtest. Hope this helps. mark | |||||
