2932.0. "Any Iff Sounds around?" by SHARE::DOYLE () Tue Sep 19 1989 09:00

    Could some one point me to some "IFF" sampled sounds, I have Moviesetter
    wich allows you to input a iff sound trak, but I don't have a sampler
     or music program (except for instant music and this saves in it's own
    format) :'(.
     If anyone can help, it'd be appreceated.
    						Thanks;

Ed,

I'm not sure what you are looking for. There are some weird sounds on
TAPE""::USER2:[AMIGA.DMCS.IFF]. These are just one-shot sound files. Are
you looking for an entire musical piece? That would take mega disk and RAM.
I have a set of sound samples from various movies at home, but each is only
about 10 seconds long.

Sorry, but I haven't seen Moviesetter so that's why I'm not much help.

    Thanks, I didn't check the (DMCS) directory.
    	Mostly It's for importing one shot files (weird and common sounds).
    However, It says it imports Sampled (stereo,mono) IFF format sounds.
        I'm not shure myself if it can run a full length song.
     It does have a few(very) controls to modify the sound though.
     Namely Panning,Volumne,Octave,Pitch, duration.

    					Thanks;
