Before I cut another jumper on my motherboard... There was a note posted by a CBM person explaining a single jumper to cut on NTSC New Agnus machines (J 101? I forget, it's written down at home) which will make it a PAL machine. So if I do this (actually put a switch in so I can switch back and forth), what trouble can I expect from the PAL situation? I know things like games and other custom screen stuff will only occupy part of the screen, but what else??? John

Well, under 1.4 you'll be able to switch modes under software control... (There's nuttin like teasing a fellow DECie across the atlantic if ya in the office at 19:25 ;-) ;-) Serious, you'll need a multisync monitor that can take the PAL resolution and refresh rates. What to expect is software that doesn't support your resolutions and more flicker, since the display is refreshed at 50/25Hz. Hope that helps John, <CB> | |||||

Sure does (help). Since I'll wait for 1.4 (any a MultiSync) now. Thanks CB! John |
