Hi, out there! I have heard about a new? version of the Transformer software. It should be release 1.3 or something like that. Does anybody know something about this program ? Is it an official release or PD or just a joke ? A friend told me that he had seen it in a BBS in the US. Thanks, Michael

2911.3 | Transformer on A3000 ??? | NBOSWS::FRIES | Wed Nov 27 1991 03:39 | 12
Hi all, Transformer works fine with my A1000 (Kickstart 1.2) but had only 371K of free memory :-( I ran TF on my A3000 and voila 640K memory free, but.... but my boot disk (MS-DOS 3.3) doesn't want to boot anymore (dark screen). Is there a version of Transformer that runs on an A3000 (1.3 or 2.0)? Thanks in advance Gerald
2911.4 | Try IBeM instead | TLE::RMEYERS | Randy Meyers | Wed Nov 27 1991 19:42 | 12 |
Re: .0, .3 Transformer is a dead product right now. Supposedly there was an updated version made available to dealers, and the dealers were supposed to let anyone with an original Transformer disk make a copy. There were some public domain patch files for transformer. Some of them might even be on EOT::. However, the best advice right now is dump Transformer. There is a Shareware program named IBeM (EOT""::AMIGA:[UPLOAD]IBEMDEMO.LZH) that works better and multitasks with AmigaDOS. |
