I also have another query for you .. I have a friend with a Amiga 500 which randomly resets the machine. No Guru. It is definately the Power Supply as he swapped it for a new one and his machine now works fine. Has anyone heard of this problem and could you give any ideas as to what is wrong with it so we can fix it to use it for a spare. Thank Shaun.

Some A500 supplies did not have enough power for extra stuff (like second floppies etc). If you friend has extra peripherals or plans to add more, he might concider getting another heftier supply. Look in Amiga mags for adv. on heavy duty A500 supplies... John | |||||

Beware of the need for 240/220V 50hz requirements. I suspect a number of the after-market U.S. manufactured power supplies for the A500 are only suitable for 110V (well at least I haven't seen any 110/240V units advertised that caught my eye) Regards Mike | |||||

Did you know that they have an adjustment pot for the 5 volts This may be tweaked a bit !!!! Pete.. |
