HI,!. Is there anyone who listen ?!. I have encounter a very strange reaction from Amiga user notes, once someone answer, but it was very direct and ask me "How did I get his name?" promise next that is going to help, "HELP" never got to me, and the other two times I have try it, I got no response . Maybe my name, or who know what makes me "noteInvisible",. but I need a "little help from a friend" or a one of YOU (the SUPER_USER_AMIGA_WIZARDS" I have noting to loose and ask : I have a DeskJet HP and I want to use it with my A1000, is there a driver for it,? I looked through notes and I do not see anything related to DJ printer, serial or parallel connection, I usual do my "Home work" but this time I got stack!. thanks! . Alex.

I don't have a DeskJet, but I seem to remember a printer driver for it
as part of AmogaDOS version 1.3. I believe there is an Icon under
System which runs a script which installs additional printer drivers
from the supplemental disk.
Sorry to be vague, but I have a hard disk so I just keep all the
printer drivers on it. Can anybody supply more precise instructions?

I can check it for tomorrow !! I have both the WB 1.3 disks so it
shouldn't take long to find it out !

From your reply,it seem to me that I have to get WB 1.3 for the DJ. drivers I am still using the 1.2 version, but now I have to go with 1.3.! I thank you John and Kari for your prompt response.!!! Alex.! | |||||

I haven't got much to check the WB 1.3 drivers but I'll check them for
next monday.
Anyway you should go after WB1.3 set because the the printer drivers in
there are much more faster than in WB1.2 also there is couple other
goodies too !!

Yes, in the EXTRAS disk of the Enhancer Software package Amiga DOS
V1.3, there are drivers for the HP Deskjet, LaserJet, PaintJet and
HP ThinkJet. I have the 1.3 update manual on hand. If you have more
questions, I might be able to help.
