I'm urgently looking for a SCSI-Tape Device Driver. I would like to
connect a TZK50 (SCSI-Version of TK50) to my A2090. Also it would be
very nice to have a tar-utility (Tape Archiver from the UNIX world...)
for the Ami to use that tape. I heard there are people working on it.
Maybe someone of you knows more???

I have spent many hours working on this. The current 2090
driver can NOT support tapes. I have heard rumors that a new
version of the driver is being written that allows direct SCSI
access. I have a program that works with a GVP controller that
already supports direct SCSI and will control a TZK50.
The direct SCSI access calls are new and many companies are
working on this addition to their driver.
