2758.0. "Video Digitizers" by STKAI2::SMEDBERG () Mon Jul 24 1989 08:52
Datel-Video Digitizer!!!
------------------------
What is it!? Is it a good Digitizer???
Is it compatible with Digiv. software???
It must be easy to make the hardware to them!, why well they must
be using cheap A/D-Converters. Becaus they sample the signal sequencial
or some thing like that, there for they can't sample from a VCR
direct......
Am i wrong??
I have a theory about how it works i think they use 7 bits for the
video signal and 1 bit for picture sync and line sync.
Then you just have to wait fore the sync signals and sample a little
bit of infomation on each line, and then procedure to the whole
the picture are digitized.
It would work properly i think!
Some other way to digitize a picture would be to use a DMA line
and do it all in real time, that would be some thing....
