| That shouldn't cause any trouble. I believe most NOTES protocols are backward
compatible.

| Sorry, I probably did'nt explain myself fully ...
After it says Server is old protocol 2/2 it then says Directory Not
Found. Because of that I can't acces that information.
Any Ideas????

Re: .3
What conferences are you trying to access?
The current Amiga UseNet conferences are located near Frankfurt (FRS)
on node FRAIS2:: and are named:
Amiga_Binaries
Amiga_Sources
Amiga_Sys
Amiga_Tech
They are indeed using the old protocol, but are accessible quite
well, at least from here. :-)
Expect some trouble around the 4.Aug.89, when we get new network
hardware.
Contact the moderator Ralf Zimmermann (FRAIS2::ZIMMERMANN) in case
you still don't ge thru.

Y E S Boys,
I'm running an older version of VAXnotes.
John is right, they're all up- and downward-compatibel.
Hi Shaun,
there should be no problem in accessing FRAIS2::AMIGA_*.
FRAIS2 is in Central-Germany. Mail me if you need additional
informations.
