Does anyone have SimCity working off of their harddisk? I've installed it per their instructions but it always hangs after the first "menu"... Thanks, Ray

2737.1 | Start it from CLI | TCC::HEFFEL | Pigs and Ponies | Sun Jul 16 1989 00:35 | 8 |
I've been running it off of my HD for several weeks now with few problems. Since I have the plain old Fat Agnus in my machine, I have to conserve CHIP RAM and I do so by using a special boot floppy that just mounts the appropriate partition and does *not* start up the Workbench. I've had the fewer crashes since I started launching it from the CLI. Gary
2737.2 | Sim City hangs during dialog... | SLOMAX::SANBORN | Fri Nov 02 1990 14:25 | 9
I'm having a problem on my Amiga 500 running Sim City. Every time I move the mouse while Sim City is bringing up a dialog box, the program freezes up (freezing the mouse pointer with it). I'm running Sim City V1.2 (with the lookup table). The problem happens on both the 1 Meg, and 512k versions of the program. Thanks, Dave |
