Why isn't there a Video Digitizer that cost's under 99$ ?????
I wanna build one my self but how???, is there any help out there????
Then i'm also wanna build a stereo sound digitizer.
Do you have any layouts on the electronics i would be so happy!!!

One of the mags I read had a project on building a sound digitizer.I
think it was last months issue of Amazing computing.I will look
into getting a copy for you.Where are you located?The unit uses
the public domain package that has been around awhile.I can't recall
it's name but it states that in the article.As for video I paid
$400.00 for Digiview,camera,lens,and stand.This is much more than
your stated 100.00 but Digiview can be had for 150.00 mail order.At
that price it is a steal.You have to consider that this also gives
you a great software interface.

Perfect Sound was the package. 150.00 for DigiView probably does not include a camera (another $200.00) There was a real nice video frame grabber project in BYTE magazine a *while* back (1-2 years?). Look in the VWS notes file or contact Fred Kliensorge (in DEC). I think he built one pretty cheap. John | |||||
