in WJG::AMUSE: there is a file that is some sort of ARP 1.3 docs. There are 2 files: WJG::AMUSE:ARP13.SH shar acrhive WJG::AMUSE:ARP-13.TEX LaTeX input file. TeX input? I tried to get DOCUMENT to convert it for me, but it complains about some lines and I don;t know Tex/LaTeX so take em for what there worth... Since this is of general use to the Amiga community (and since it's only 20k), I've enclosed his file below. It's also available via anonymous ftp from xanth.cs.odu.edu as /amiga/arp-1.3.tex.Z ... These are not the official docs, but are a clever immitation. I don't use ARP, so I can't tell how good these docs are, but they do print correctly here. ...tad

2649.1 | Converting the file is straightforward | LEVERS::PLOUFF | Glorious Blossoms -- Ah-ah-ah-choo! | Fri Jun 16 1989 10:19 | 18 |
If Latex is up on your system this file should work with no problems. Just be careful to strip off anything before the beginning of the TeX stuff and anything after "end {document}". The procedure I use is: $LATEX ARP-13 $DVI2LN3 ARP-13 /H=0 /V=0 $PRINT/QUE=xxx_LN03/NOFEED/PASSALL ARP-13.LN3 Afterward you will see a lot of miscellaneous auxiliary files to clean up. FWIW, John Dutka took the plain ASCII docs, played a bit with the layout and section headers, and let his file loose. It looks better than straight line printer output, but not as good as a real technical document. Wes Plouff
2649.2 | anyone have it converted? | CIMNET::KYZIVAT | Paul Kyzivat | Sat Jun 17 1989 00:47 | 4 |
Does anyone have this available in LN03 or Postscript format? LATEX isn't installed on my system. Paul
2649.3 | ARP-13.LN03 | WJG::GUINEAU | Mon Jun 19 1989 21:13 | 11
A friend converted this for us: WJG::AMIGA:ARP-13.LN03 It's only a few pages, but appears to address *changes* in 1.3 rather than reproducing the whole manual set. Enjoy! John
2649.4 | ARPDOC3.ZOO on NORSE:: | LOWLIF::DAVIS | That's not a BUG, it's a FEATURE! | Mon Jul 03 1989 00:31 | 10 |
Ladies and Gentlemen! Straight from Kansas City, those doc of docs, lets all put our hands together and welcome ARPDOC3.ZOO to NORSE::AMIGA:[UPLOAD]! ARPDOC3.ZOO contains the user documentation for ARP V1.3. By user docu- mentation, I mean it has the docs for all the ARP commands. If I see any programmer docs, I'll post another reply. Modem on dudes! ...richard |
