Don't know if there's a better place to ask this so -
I use ZMODEM all the time going between work and my AMIGA.
My question is - Is there a way to use the RZ SZ pair to
accomplish a ZMODEM transfer between 2 VAX.
This is for someone else who has a Microvax at home and would
like something better than Kermit for his file transfres. Any
other suggestions that have been tried?
Thanks
Frank

Maybe it's not the most elegant solution - but it worked for me: in VVMODEM.C change the variable tt_name[] from "TT" to the terminal name from where you initiate the connection on your host (lets say "TXA2"), recompile and relink RZ / SZ (see RZ.C /SZ.C for how to do that). Connect to Remote using Kermit or SET HOS/DTE, start there the RZ/SZ, escape back to host and fire up the modified SZ/RZ. HRK. | |||||
