| Easy !!
The file is either stream_LF and should be fixed length OR it's
fixed length and should be stream_LF. Use CVTARC to change it.

| I checked it out, I'll bet the file is stream_LF - NFT doesn't like
that so you must use CVTARC to change it to variable length max 510
$ CVTARC v filename.zoo
Then NFT works fine.

| Sorry.
I forgot to do /BLOCK as well.
I've got it on the PC now although the copy took 2 hours - Oh the joy
of NaFT.
Thanks for the help

| Interesting, because after I replied to your note earlier I tried
a copy from my VAX to PC via NFT and ethernet and the two very large
startrek .zoo files copied over in under 5 minutes. (393503 and
714135 bytes) I didn't use /BLOCK either. Are you copying from a
remote node or a local one ?

| Sorry I don't know.
As you may have guessed I don't know anything about PC's on the
ethernet. Phyically the two are close but what ethernet sees them as I
don't know.
Transfer speed reported at the end of NFT was approx 300.
