Although Dungeon Master has outstanding game mechanics, my personal
favorite is Faery Tale Adventure by MicroIllusions. It's the only
computer fantasy/adventure game that left me feeling like I had
personally walked 20,000 miles.
FTA features 20,000 smooth scrolling screens and spectacular graphics
and sound. There is a note somewhere dealing specifically with this
game.

| When I owned a C-128 I had "Pool of Radiance".
This was my favorite, but I can't seem to find it for the "Amiga".
Can anybody tell me if they've seen an Amiga version?
Sorry if this doesn't fit here ... But I figure I can get an
a qualified answer here if anywhere.
(sorry to interupt)

| Third vote for Fairey Tale ans second vote for Dungeon Master. Both are
_excellent_, and each with its own strong points. No doubt that Ed is
right about FT being big. I've solved DM, but I'm still walking all
over FT!!!!

2631.5 | DND type games
| RTL::UTZ | | Mon Jun 12 1989 12:51 | 11 |
| Faery Tale Adventure and Dungeon Master are both great games. I personally
prefer Dungeon Master. Both these games are what I call real-time action. The
clock is ticking while you are standing there doing nothing. If a monster is
attacking, you will keep getting hit until you defeat it or run away. This takes
advantage of the great graphics on the AMIGA and makes the game quite interesting.
From your description, the real-time effect, doesn't sound like it would interest
you that much. If so, then I would suggest Bard's Tale II. The mazes and
puzzles are quite somthing. This one will keep you going for quite a long time.
