I'm having a problem with my A2000's RGB-signal. The monitor i am using is made by RAMTEK and it's an RGB-monitor and tektronics terminal hw&sw, but I'm only using the RGB-monitor via external RGB-input. The problem is that the monitor uses somehow too much electric from A2000 and the performance is drops from 1.0 down to .3-.4 also the internal clock goes 2 times faster than normal clock. In the RGB-cable that I have made uses the Analog- Red/Green&Blue and I have connected the Composite-sync to the Analog-Green also I have connected together all 5 grounds. I do not have this kind of a problem in A500 or A1000 models with the same cable... So I need all help to get this problem solved!!!! Kari.

Are you sure that you didn't connect anything to external clock pin at the Amiga RGB port??? This is pin #2 if I remember correctly of the top of my rather empty head. Your problem sounds just like that. regards, <CB> | |||||

>Are you sure that you didn't connect anything to external clock >pin at the Amiga RGB port??? Yes, I'm absolutely sure, because I've used this cable in A500 and A1000 and I haven't got any problems using the same monitor. Kari. |
