Question....is a 5.25 inch disk still made for the Amiga 1000? I'm
not sure what it's proper designation is and would like to add one
to mine. What is the price range that I'll be looking at? And
how reliable are they? Thanks.

It's called the 1020. No, I don't think that they are still
making it.

You'll have to try to find one used or find someone who can make
the circut and extra other thingies to turn a regular 5 1/4 drive
into one the amiga can use

I've never had any problems with mine, and it's been used daily
for about 2 years now!

As for the price range, a store cleared the 5 last 5.25" 1020 they
had for CDN$25.00 (about $20.00). (Yes that's cheap) . Brand new
drive from Comodore with warranty cards etc...
Quite reliable, so far. Good luck to find some more!
Vince.
