	I've now copied some ARC files to my AMI and can not un-arc them.

	I get file not an object error 121 if i try to un arc the file 

			ARC23.ARC / ARC023.ARC

	From reading the notes they said that this file can UN-ARC itself

	The file ARC023.arc has an error in it when I tried to check it out on
the VAX side , 300 or so bytes skipped I think

	Can anyone PLEASE tell me where I can find a GOOD copy or mail me a 
copy of ARC that WILL... DE-ARC itself   ...

	Try TAPE::[AMIGA.SRC]ARC023.BIN I haven't tried this yet but it is supposed to unarc itself. THis was suggested to my note "Fishing for disks". Good Luck Graham @REO

	I tried it . It didn't work... BUT.... This morning re reading the information I pulled off the note files I have now copied the xmodem.c to my directory and cc ed it and linked it. THIS has now given me a NEW XMODEM file and is completely different to the last Xmodem file which came up with :- Xmodem ver 5.1 running on VMS etc. Well I'll try once again tonite and let you know At the AMI end I'm using HANDSHAKE 2.12a but have also got ACCESS... Does anybody know where Ymodem WXmodem is as both the programs can use them... BUT they do not use ZMODEM...IF is get ARC to work then I'll copy AZcomm and start to use that... Regards Steve G

	> Does anybody know where Ymodem WXmodem is as both the programs can If you've got the same version of XModem that I have (think I got it from CGOU01::) then you've got YModem already. Just say XMODEM/ONEK/SEND. Do an XMHelp to see of /ONEK is one of the qualifiers. BTW, if you DO have this version of XModem, then I think you'll find it works quite well with HandShake2.12a. I almost never got a good xmodem download with the older version of Xmodem I had, but I haven't had a single failure with this newer version... even with noisy connections. John
