2559.0. "Screen saver recommendations" by HPSCAD::GATULIS (Frank Gatulis) Fri May 12 1989 14:46

    Can anyone comment on what they might be using as a screen saver?
    I know I've seen something in here before but can't recall where.

	I like, and use, DMouse 1.10 (by Matt Dillon). It is a screen blanker,
mouse accelerator, mouse-off, start a new cli at the push of a button type
program. What sets it apart from PopCLI, MACH, and the others I've seen is that
it doesn't run as a background task. It installs itself as an input handler.

	It's on the net somewhere.

2559.3How about Qmouse?SMAUG::SPODARYKScaring the pedestrians...Sun May 14 1989 20:239
    (WJG::AMIGA::QMOUSE14.ARC)

    You could also try Qmouse. I believe it has similar features to
    Dmouse, but is written in 100% assembler so it is small in size.
    It's only about 3k bytes long, but does everything I'd like it
    to do. Screen/mouse blanker, 'Hot' keys, screen flipper, mouse
    accelerator, tiny LED clock, etc, etc.

    I just ran across a new one (for me, at least) called "clockdj"
    that I plan to try out. I had it up and running one night and it
    performed well. Dmouse is my current Blanker/Accelerator/Sunmouser
    of choice, but clockdj provides a flexible clock window complete with
    a nice intuition menu to allow easy on-the-fly changes, and looks
    worthy of an extended trial.
