RE PCPATCH
I'm a complete novice and have enterd note 2556 to ask how to get
software from the network onto my AMIGA (via a PC). Do I need
something like PC Patch.

Yep .. that's correct. PCPATCH contains several programs:
1. PcC720 - copies from/to an Amiga device (default is RAM:)
to/from DF0: or DF1: (which it configures as either
a 360K or 720K PC drive.
2. PcF720 - formats a disk in DF0: or DF1: as an IBM format
360K or 720K diskette
3. PC Formatter - allows you to modify the structure of the formatted
disk (i.e., number of sectors, FAT, start of
data sectors, etc.)
4. Complete docs are included.
You need to put all the files into the same directory as PcCopy
and PcFormat from your V1.3 Extras diskette.
