2556.0. "Fishing for disks" by SYSTEM::HELLIAR () Thu May 11 1989 06:52

    Having read the various Fish Disk notes and loooking at whats on
    TAPE::USER1:[AMIGA] I'm itching to get my hands on some of the
    software.

    My question is how do I get the files to the AMIGA , once they're on
    the AMIGA I should be O.K.

    I've got access to a PC at DEC which has 5.25 inch floppies. At home I
    have a PC with both 5.25 and 3.5 inch floppies. Also at home is my
    AMIGA 500 which is 3.5 inch floppy based. Due to space problems my PC
    and AMIGA are in different rooms.

    So to get the AMIGA software onto my AMIGA I need to do the following:

    1.	Copy TAPE:: to my DEC PC and put it onto 5.25 inch (360K) floppy.
    2.	On my PC at home copy the 5.25 inch floppy to a 3.5 inch (720K)
    floppy.
    3.	On my amiga at home access the data on the 3.5 inch floppy data
    and unZoo it.

    Can this be done and if so how do I go about it.

    					Thanks in advance

2556.1Going to the Zoo 45729::HELLIARMon May 15 1989 09:029
ANother problem !

I'll need ZOO to unzoo all the files, unfortunately the only ZOO's I can find
on TAPE:: are zoo'ed themselves. Does anyone know where the lattest unzoo'ed
ZOO is kept.

				Thanks in advance

    	Two ways to go..

    	1. In the TAPE::[amiga.tools] area is a VMSZOO.EXE that can
    be used to unzoo ZOO on the VAX then download the result.

    	2. In the TAPE::[amiga.ARC] area is a ARC023.bin and ZOO16.ARC
    . You can download both these. ARC023.bin and unarc its self and
    then use ARC to un-arc ZOO16.ARC.

    Is there anything I need to do when copying files on the PC to my 3.5
    inch drive?

I've got a zoo'ed file but no ZOO. Also due to PC problems I can't get one off
TAPE:: . Is there anyone in DECPARK Reading who can supply me with a diskette
with ZOO on it?

				Thanks in advance
