I use Design 3-D from gold disk and was wondering if someone
could point out any public domain fonts, objects, or pictures that
might be online and Iff format.
Thanx Ed

There is a complete uppercase and lowercase alphanumeric character set
that was converted from UniGraphics format to Sculpt-3D object format
by our own Steve Pileeki. If the archive isn't on line around here
I'll re-upload it.
Ed, could you say a few words about Design-3D? I've been considering
buying either it or Modeler-3D from Aegis. Both look pretty nice and
Model just got a great writeup in AmigaPlus.
I have some public domain objects in Sculpt-3D format. If you have
Interchange form Syndesis you can convert them back and forth from
Sculpt to Videoscape format.
Ed.

re -.1
I'm not impressed with the way it handles it's animation, during
a "tumble" script, it started to severely distort when the object
I was animating got close up.
Also, It's "shade" and "colorizing" system are simplistic.
I also ran out of memory trying to "shade" a fairly simple object.
A sphere to be exact.
Be aware there is no real raytraycing, something that I thought
it had, due to a review title picture in Amigo Times.
It also has Gurued on me twice, while trying to render color.
I should of spent the extra $50 and got Sculpt 4D jr.
Ed
By the way has anyone got Sculpt 4D jr. ?
How is it?
Whats the difference between "Sculpt-4D" and "Sculpt-4D jr."
besides about $300 dollars?
Thanx.

Jr does not have ray tracing. There may be other differences too.
