    When using Amigaterm I am having trouble downloading .arc or .exe
    files.
    xmodem does not appear to recognize the end of file, it just keeps on 
    transferring. There is no problem with ascii text files.
    What am I doing wrong?

	AmigaTerm is brain-damaged when it comes to transferring via Xmodem. You should get a real terminal program like Smokey or Handshake. If you need to break the catch-22 (how do I download a terminal program without a terminal program) then send me e-mail and I'll be glad to send you my starter disk with Handshake and a diskload of other files and programs.
