I am trying to use my modem to talk with another modem (not using
a BBS). The person owns a ST with auto-dial and uses ST talk. I
use a amiga with a manual dial modem and I use Handshake. WHen
I call him up when when he has his modem ready I hear a busy signal.
When he tries to call me up he gets a timeout error. What are we
doing wrong?

Assuming baudrate and parity are the same. Are both modems set
at auto-answer?
