Ok - HARD DISK question time.... I have considered buying a hard disk for some time - the only thing that has put me off is the price ($1500 NZ = $900 US) what should I be looking for in a hard disk... are there any restrictions or points I should consider with regards to a PAL system of operation... what are the prices like in the US? Phil

I presume you are in the Uk.. If not disregard the following..when I looked at the prices , I also fell off my chair..Second hand Bargain basement time I thought. There are several magazines about ,Computer Mart in particular is the one I saw . They advertise Electronic Auctions around the country, particularly in London. I cannot comment on prices or quality, but I am going to one at Southgate Tech on the 29th and will let you know.. Regards Pete | |||||

They may still do a similar thing, ie Auction or Second Hand Mart. The magazine was Micro Mart not as previously stated.. Pete |
