Having trouble de-arcing without error (crash). Is the archive still
intact or is it just me?

| I got it without any problems(downloaded with zmodem). Works great.
I don't have a A1000 anymore, but I suspect this will fix the A1000
problem where a warm reboot throws you back to Kickstart.
thanks Ed.

OOPS! It was just me...A silly problem on my end (not using the
correct transfer protocol). The archive is just fine. Sorry for
the false alarm.

| Does this fix any bugs for non-68020 systems? How did you get the
file? Did Commodore send it to you directly, because you have a
68020?

| It's been posted on all the major BBS's. Ed probably grabbed it
from PLINK. That's where I fetched it.

| NORSE:: has been unavailable, at least from here, since the base
note was posted. Is the newest Setpatch available anywhere else
on the Easynet? (Hope NORSE::'s problems are soon fixed...)

Please tell me exactly what the problem is with NORSE. I've tried
everythiong I can (but from within a 20 mile area), and it seems
to be working. I want people to use the facility and certainly ED
ACCIARDI (did I spell that right), seems to have access OK. If anyone
has a problem - MAIL ME. I'll do what I can to solve the issue.

Since I haven't released it for posting *anywhere* as yet, there is
no doc file included.

To restate: we DIDN'T release it. We don't know where it came from.
We don't know if it's a real copy of SetPatch (though it probably is, assuming
the person who posted it didn't modify it by, say, adding a virus).
Take more precautions, especially with bulletin boards.
BTW, if someone knows where it came from, I'd like to know...
