There have been lots of questions asked about different hard disks. So I thought I would compile what information I have in one note. This is mostly for Segate drives if anyone has info on other drives this might be a good place to put it. This information is from the Segate Universal installation handbook. They rate the ST412 MFM encoding drives at 5.0 megabit/sec, and the RLL encoded drives at 7.5 Megabits/sec.
