    	Help.   I got a hardware problem on my A500.
    	If I plug in an external drive into it, the swine
    	won't boot at all. All i get is the pretty picture
    	of the workbench disk, it refuses to look at the 
    	internal drive.
    	Any suggestions out there ( Only ones that are
    	medically possible will be considered.)

    Is it a decent brand disk drive ?
    
    The first thought that comes to me is if the drive unit select was
    wrong it might confuse the floppy controller ?
    
    Just a thought...
