    I know there is a utility for converting iff to sixel format, but
    can I convert sixel to iff?

	Assuming the sixel file has 8 colors or less you could run Smokey in a 3-bit plane custom screen, log into the VAX, VMS type the file, and use Grabbit or some such utility on the amiga to capture the picture in IFF. Not very nice and somewhat limited, but it might work for some instances. - steve
