I suspect that I damaged my parallel port when I plugged in Digiview with the power on. What chip would I have to replace to make it work again? Only the inputs of the parallel port seem to have been damaged. Thanks. Mitch

> What chip would I have to replace to make it work again? PROBABLY the 8520, also called Complex Interface Adaptor. Omnitek will sell you one for about $16. NOTE: they do not refund on chips, as far as I can remember, and it is possible something else is wrong, but these chips are sensitive and not well protected from the outside world. |
