What is everybody painting on their Amigas? Are you using Deluxe Paint, DigiPaint or Photon Paint? I am very anxious to hear about what you have done. Anything that looks good?????? Cheers, Rick

I use Express Paint V3.0, which permits up to a full page at 300 dpi (somewhat painfully). My son uses it more than I do, to illustrate school reports. I have very little artistic skill---my wife tells me that all my taste is in my mouth. John Sauter

hi, a friend of mine who is not blessed enough to work for such a fine company, bought express paint. he read that it can use, or uses the 'virtual page' standard. he thinks that this will allow him to create big art works, but he says there is no documentation on this 'standard'. if anyone can point me to something, i and my friend would sure appreciate it. thanks in advance. jj

I used Deluxepaint to produce all screens for a relational Database that I'm writing Title graphics Security Patches master menu Help screens nothing awesome - very simple stuff like Company Logos (I'm writing the stuff for a friend who has just bought a small business) I have drawn some reasonable stuff - I drew an electronic greetings card for a friend on his birthday / xmas stuff for my family and some background graphics for a game that a friend of mine is writing (mountains/waterfall/forest etc) I've never used any other paint program so It's impossible for me to make any comparisons Phil
2343.4 | maybe not very standard? | SAUTER::SAUTER | John Sauter | Fri Mar 10 1989 07:18 | 5 |
re: .2---The only documentation I have ever seen for the virtual page "standard" is in the Express Paint 3.0 manual. They claim that AmigaTeX will be using it, but I've not seen any hint from Tom Rokicki that he is even aware of it. John Sauter |
