| I don't remember this particular puzzle, but there is a disk of
"shadowgate hints" that you can buy. It's a pretty good program.

| I have the clue book at home, I'll look it up tonight.
BTW - That's the only way I can finish games like that (with a clue book)!

Lets hope the game companies don't start using the Poloroid camera marketing
technique. Can you imaging buying games for say $10 that require purchase
of $30 hint books and hint disks... :^}

2317.4 | splash him | DISCVR::HAXTON | | Fri Mar 03 1989 16:16 | 5 |
| It is a beast of flame so try the HOLY WATER. Hint: If your friend
does not already have the HOLY WATER, it is located in the room with all
those little bottles and the kettle (next to the outside garden), but it
is hidden...look down.

Cheers,
Andy.

How does one get beyond the lava pool in SHADOWGATE? If anyone
can help me I'll be glad to save the multiverse for us all at no
charge!
Thanks,

Check the "Nintendo" notes file.

on SHADOWGATE. There is available a complete walk-through of the game,
if you want.

Re: .7
Thanks Ed, I'll pass on the message.
Re: .8
I did do a directory first (that's how I found this note!) and came up
with only two for SHADOWGATE; 1354 and 2317. A contract worker here
(sans VAX account) has the game on his Amiga at home. He had got to the
end (?) and wanted to complete it. His brother had finished the game a
few years back but couldn't remember the "key" to get past that point.
He asked me if I knew, and since I've never played myself, I turned to
the ultimate source of Amiga knowledge in the universe. I "replied" to
the base note, typed the intro, let him type the question and then
signed off myself. Am I banished forever?
 on SHADOWGATE. There is available a complete walk-through of the game,
Is this via a hints book? I thought I saw one a System Eyes, but I
can't remember if it was SHADOWGATE specific or what.
Thanks,
Pete

2317.10 | The walkthrough is a text file. | GOBAMA::WILSONTL | Tony, the HOSS TRUMPET | Mon Aug 13 1990 15:03 | 4 |
| The walkthrough is available on one of the AMIGA source systems (WJG,
TAPE, etc). I'll see if I can find it and post its location here.
